Health Connections Guernsey is pleased to announce the appointment of Vicky Groulef as its new Chairperson, effective 1 April 2026. She succeeds Louise Misselke, who has served since 2017 and will support a smooth handover of responsibilities.

During her tenure, Louise has played a central role in strengthening Health Connections’ mission to ensure everyone in the Bailiwick has access to the support and connections they need. Her leadership has guided the charity through a period of meaningful growth, deepened community partnerships, and expanded services.
Vicky brings extensive experience in public service, the third sector and strategic leadership. Her commitment to social impact and her understanding of the island’s needs make her well placed to lead Health Connections into its next chapter. As Chairperson, she will work closely with the Board, staff, volunteers, and partners to advocate good governance and drive community impact.

Louise Misselke said:
“It has been an immense privilege to support the Charity since 2001 and to lead it as Chairperson since 2017. Over that time, I have had the honour of working with extraordinary staff, volunteers, directors, and partners who have shown unwavering commitment to reducing loneliness and improving access to support across the Bailiwick. I feel deeply grateful for what has been achieved collectively and proud of the strong position the charity is now in.
Vicky’s passion and experience will be invaluable as Health Connections continues to evolve, and I am confident the organisation is in excellent hands.”
Incoming Chairperson Vicky Groulef commented:
“I am honoured to take on this role and to build on the strong foundations laid by Louise. Health Connections plays a vital role in supporting people across our community, and I look forward to working with the team to strengthen our impact to a wider audience and make Health Connections even more self-sustainable.”
Health Connections extends its sincere thanks to Louise for her leadership and service, and warmly welcomes Vicky as she steps into her new role.
